Kazakh Yum Yums

Tonight I was invited around to the apartment of my Junior Engineer, and his wife cooked for me. It was such a lovely gesture, and I really appreciated it.

I don't think I can say thank you enough for their hospitality!

The food was delicious, and there is a lot to be said for enjoying some home cooked food. I know that I wouldn't cook something like this just for myself...it hardly seems worth it. This beats any restaurant in Almaty hands down!

After supper, went for a short walk around a park where they have some old school Soviet military hardware, and then to a nice shopping mall where I bought a tie :)
