Macau

Lazy morning reading; late, alfresco tapas lunch in the sun; and last minute trip over to Macau for a night of Portuguese food and some light gambling. This was the view from the Riveria hotel where we stayed. Sold to us at the ferry pier as the Ritz (which allegedly it formerly was). The first room we were given was apparently an upgrade because my boyfriend has a lucky face. When we got to the room with mouldy walls, a TV from the early 90s and a bed marginally harder than a concrete floor we demanded a real upgrade. Got moved up to the fourth floor (clearly the first class floor as that's whee the crazy golf course was situated too) where there was less mould and the bed had some give. No choice but to go out drink a lot of sangria and lose money on roulette!
