Rhododendrons

A lovely sunny day and Irene and I had hoped to go to the Corstorphine fair to support the MS stall. But unfortunately we couldn't find anywhere close enough to park so that Irene could get out in the wheelchair. So sadlywe had to give up.
We went instead to Balgreen park to admire the rhododendrons, and just enjoy the sun.
Later that evening I was going out to Irma's, but 5 minutes before I was due to leave the house the skies opened up and the rain came down. It was too late to change into more sensible clothes, so just had to rely on the umbrella to protect me as best it could.
