Dead Or Alive?
My mother in law gave me a cutting a few years ago of a pyracantha shrub. It grew quite well from a small 6 inch twig into a healthy looking plant around 4 feet high and the same across. The last harsh winter seemed to have killed it off. All the evergreen leaves turned brown and crispy and started to fall off. We started to make plans to dig the thing out and plant something else in it's place and then...
A few green leaves and these flowers appeared right near the top of the plant, a sign that it may still be alive! Now we're really not sure what to do ;-)
