After Ansel

I spent a couple of hours today leafing through my photography books. Sometimes it was inspiring, other times it felt a little dispiriting - the brilliance and impact of some photographers' work can feel a little overwhelming.

This image is a combination of a beautiful Ansel Adams print of a bare-branched tree and the reflection of the trees outside my living-room window.
