Potted Cat

Ted, our elderly cat, enjoying the sunshine on his favourite throne, an old plant pot in the garden. I don't bother putting plants in it any longer, as he'd sit in it anyway!

He's a real character - 17 years old, bad tempered, moves slowly and looks a bit straggly - despite regular grooming. Easily annoyed by 'the youngsters' - our pair of 1 year old cats. For years, he wouldn't sit close, but now he sidles up and sits beside me, as long as it's quiet, and I don't try to fuss him too much.

He's still a handsome fellow, though!
