Snap!

Today was Roger's birthday, and he received two identical cards from our two daughters - one bought locally, and one bought in Texas! The center one is from his younger sister, who can usually be relied upon for a cheeky card referring to his age! This evening we went out to eat at a new place (for us) that Roger had recently heard about and seen in a magazine review. It was a bit of a drive from here - out in the country down in Kentucky, overlooking the Licking River, which flows into the Ohio in Cincinnati. It features Louisiana fare.
Other than that, today was one of those typical overcast, but hot and muggy summer days. I went swimming around lunchtime, but other than that stayed at home in the air-conditioning doing housework and odd jobs.
