almost 4 months later

Hard to believe these are the same cottonwood in the photo from a cold Feb day. As we near the summer solstice the trees are in full leaf and soon the cottonwoods will be spreading their seeds(cotton) to the wind hoping the lucky few land on moist sandbars. The willows along the creek are so full with leaves they hide the trunks of the cottonwoods.
