Big Top Magic

The circus has come to town - at least it has put up the big top on the recreation ground opposite our house. Something magical about the circus tent. Redolent of childhood and possibly a first introduction to things theatrical. I sneaked into the big top before tonight's show to see if it still seemed magical. Lots of health can safety checks going on for an innovative high wire act but the central pole holding up this portion was just like a magic wand! So my emotions remained intact!
Did think of John Major running away from the circus to become an accountant though!
