Building ornament

I was in York today for a meeting, and had a quick wander before catching my scheduled train home. I've been to York a few times now, and it's one of my absolute favourite places to visit - such amazing architecture (not to mention the lovely cafes, pubs and shops!). It was a shame to have to head home so quickly.

This little ornament was one of a number of figures on an ornate wooden doorway.
