Dad rocks
Today is the first time I got home and realized I needed to take a photo of something, but it was dark out and I was tired from a long day at work so not much inspiration.
So - I took this photo of one of my dad's paintings, which hangs on the wall in my living room. I love the vibrant colors. All of his paintings utilize lots and lots of color, but this one is one of my favorites (that he has given me, that is). I also like the frame, which he also made. The inspiration for the painting was a bunch of large river rocks in either Southern Utah or Northern Arizona, I believe.
I love having my dad's art in my house. It's a daily reminder of what a neat and talented person he is, and it makes me feel special that he wanted to give me something beautiful that he created.
