Sleep Now In The Fire
Rage Against The Machine. Finsbury Park.
I used to think music could change the world. Tonight I felt a bit like that again. It was a revolution, a movement, a group of people rejecting being spoonfed awful pop music and Simon Cowell buying his way into the Xmas Number One spot in the charts year after year.
We changed it because we came together with the same idea.
It is easy to feel too small to make a difference but if enough people want it and we work together, then things can change and be better.
In this case they can become more noisy.
This gig was free as a thank you and was the most hardcore moshpit I've ever been in. It was scary and sweaty and pushy and shovey and bouncy and a lot of fun.
