All eyes on South Africa

I'm so excited! The World Cup is almost upon us and I can indulge in watching the best footballers in the world. My routine will become slightly boring over the next 6 weeks with a quick run in the evening then settling down to watch a match while sewing away. BLISS!!!

This picture is part of a mobile which is made in South Africa by homeless people out of discarded petrol cans. It's a project that aims to empower them while also providing a wage. I love the mobile but the edges are a tad jaggy due to the metal.

Well best go now and get angry at Question Time.
