A slice of Lesley's life

Lunchtime view

Backblipping this finally, more than a week later...

Looking out of a London window at a grey and rainy sky and a tube line it is hard to conjure quite how lovely it was to sit with this for a view whilst eating a picnic lunch. But I'm sure there's some trite saying about not appreciating one without the other and all that.

Anyway, Monday saw us at the Sea Life Sanctuary just outside of Oban. A not large place but well run with enough to interest everyone, including seal feeding and an adventure playground. And this lovely cove that was accessed over a little bridge and through a small wood. Not very out of the way but clearly enough for us to be the only ones who took our picnic there so was doubly lovely to have it to ourselves.

The afternoon found us discovering Tralee Beach which would have been a great alternative blip as it was easily declared the best cricket pitch in the world.

The evening found us eating at the Oyster Inn at Loch Fyne which some of you maybe familiar with from Richard's blips.

Then back to our Lodge for a long sleep for a lot of tired, happy, well-fed folks.
