peony/paeony

Sorry, flower blip ! it has rained all day, whatever I took today was going to be wet. I HATE it when rain spoils my peonys, they are all showy and lovely then the rain makes them droop, very annoying ! These have lived in my garden for 9 years, they come from hundred year old stock, They are, without wishing to sound like an old duffer, the highlight of my garden. I cannot bring myself to pick them, even though I want too.
