Rainy day pursuits....

Went for tea and cake to my good friend at her new beach house..... the rain lashed down and the roads were flooded..
I was supposed to walk milly on the beach but it was torrential rain so i gave it a miss..
It did brighten up a bit ... enough to pick our way around the lake through the floods....

The children did not care about the rain and chose to kayak.. They spent most of the time capsizing .. and then decided to have a chat.... I am sure i got wetter than they did and they had much more fun.....
I hope your day was not as soggy as mine...
