a blip apart

I did genuinely have something else booked elsewhere for this evening, but I doubt I'd have done anything more than wander sneakily past outside prior to the start time and peer through the window even if I hadn't. I'm not very good at stand-up-mingle-chat events and nor is my stomach. Sit-down meetups are better as the number of people in direct contact are limited and the terrifying mingling-interposition-schmoozing thing becomes optional.

As for not entering images for it in the first place, that was just down to not knowing who might have wound up on either side.
