Artist's Entrance.

We were looking at the Baku Opera and Ballet Theatre as a venue to hold functions. This gave me the opportunity to go backstage (though sadly there were no dancers around), and I admired the wonderful old posters lining the corridors. I wanted to be a dancer when I was younger, and love the contrast of the front of house areas - all chandeliers, gilt paint and red velvet - and behind the scenes - lino and odd pieces of carpet on the floors, yellow lighting, pianos and spare props/parts of scenery left in odd places. I could have happily explored and taken photos for some time!
