58 cents left

Tonight I went for a walk along the Charles River with Rachel. It was great to catch up with her. There's something so comforting about spending time with an old friend. After our walk we got something to eat at Market in the Square in Harvard Square. I had put $20 in my pocket before we went for our walk. I bought a few things to eat tonight and tomorrow. I got $9.58 change which I put in my right pocket of my fleece jacket. We sat down and I put the jacket on the back of my chair. A woman sat down at the table behind me. Moments later I noticed my jacket was on the floor. She said "oh sorry" and went to pick it up. I bent down to pick it up too and I put it back on my chair. She immediately got up and let the store. I thought the interaction seemed awkward, but I didn't think much of it. As she was leaving I noticed she had a black purse with a big sticker on it that said "I love boobies", which was really interesting. A few minutes later I went to buy something else and my cash was gone - the $9 wasn't in my pocket. I think she pick-pocketed me! How crazy!!! Thankfully she didn't take my car key or cell phone.
