More Salem wanderings.
It was a really nice night today, nice and sunny but with none of the icky humidity. So went for a bit of a wander after work. I'd walked past The Old Burying Point a few times since I've been here but never been in. It's the oldest cemetery in Salem, and the second oldest in the USA. Bit of a random choice for an evening wander I know, but there were a few touristy folk having a look so I thought I'd have a look too. Read up about the history of the place inside and some important local figures from way back when are buried there (town founders, witch trial people, etc etc.). Some really interesting stones/ancient trees in there; definately worth a look.
