Here Be Monsters!

Queen's Bridge, which is the bridge one crosses on the way into Belfast when coming from North Down, is decorated with a number of what may be original gas-powered lamp posts. They're rather ornate as you can see here. I think these fish are like ugly Monkfish, though they remind me of the illustrations on mediaeval maps showing sea monsters!
