Day 12 - California - Las Vegas - Liberace
Today we decided to head away from the strip and went for a bit of culture out and away at the Liberace Museum. Interesting to see who Liberace was as he died when I was only 6.
The museum holds everything you could ever think was Liberace including some amazing Rolls Royce cars that had been customised just for him. There were also his many costumes that were worn during his shows.
My one piece of tat from the gift show was a sequins bow tie. I have yet to try this on properly.
We spent most of today within the many casinos trying to win some money. We did however fail to win much. This also meant we could avoid the relentless heat outside. 95oF at the height of the day, but it felt like this from 9am through to sundown.
Our flight home was uneventful, but it has to be said that Virgin America is an excellent carrier for internal flights in the US.
