Communion

These ants are eating something off the edge of my sink. I have no idea what they're eating, and I didn't have the guts to taste it, but my guess is that it's something sugary.

I just finished reading "Anthill: A Novel." Good read, especially the middle part that's written from the ants' perspective. I had newly found respect for these ants (until I vacuumed them up).
