RIDE: WELL Blood Water Mission

There is a water crisis in Africa. Fresh water wells are needed to support life. An epidemic of HIV & Aids rage in this impoverished land. You can find many great causes, born from a desire to help and the compassion toward others in need. Blood Water Mission is no different. The Ride:Well is, WELL A LITTLE DIFFERENT!!!

In the past two years the Ride:Well Tour has raised close to $300,000 to provide clean water projects, clinics and educational opportunities for our friends in Africa while educating people in countless communities across America about the water & HIV/AIDS crises many Africans face everyday.

Today the Ride: Well team left from our church on a 3000+ mile bike ride across the US to raise funds and awareness for the people of Africa. The cyclists gathered round for prayer, as you can see here, the cyclist on the left already has 'road rash', but that isn't stopping them. As they started out the parking lot the cheers and shouts rang out from the 100's of bystanders out to show their support.

As always, it is great to be a part of something, outside of yourself!!!

Yesterday, the anniversary party was for someone that I didn't know, until yesterday. I was asked to take some back up shot of the family and candids.
But, I still find it amazing...50 years. That is a long time! :] And such a sweet couple, they treated me like family!
