It rained .....

Took myself off early this morning....not stupid o'clock early, but early enough....with the intention of spending a few unencumbered hours, wandering at will, taking photographs....and so I had a lovely 4-5 hours. I think I managed to steal the only 1/2 hour or so of sunshine that we had here today....i felt very lucky!

Spent the afternoon cleaning all the pieces to go into the bisque kiln (this is the first firing the pots have to go thro)....things were going very well, until I did a really clumsy thing and shattered 4 large bowls.....ahhhh.... i don't do this sort of thing very often, thank god, and i don't know what happened to my co-ordination, but it was a bad one! oh well, another lesson in letting go i guess!
