Mmmm, cupcakes.....

Today we had Gran and Grandpa visiting, and Auntie Lynnie too. Wee C & wee D were delighted by this - people other than me and hubby to show off to... And grandparents and Aunties are always the most popular!

Grandpa was helping to fix the outside tap that burst it's pipe during the Great Thaw. It'll be nice to have somewhere to attach the hose to again - the cars are looking somewhat neglected. No excuse now!

In honour of our visitors I did some baking again, some banana , honey & cinnamon cupcakes with a cream cheese frosting & belgian chocolate curls... Normally I might not have bothered, but these visitors are the sort of people who absolutely MUST have something sweet after their lunch, and they heartily appreciate my baking, which is always nice! I, on the other hand, would much rather sit with a big bag of lime Doritos and a tub of jalapeno houmous and munch away all afternoon....
