Morning Shimmer

I was up early this morning, went down to the water, and there were a lot of trucks in the way at the particular place I was going. Don't they know that an amateur blipper is coming?

I had to walk through a maze of trucks to get to my spot, but I finally made it. The sky was awesome again this morning, and the sun was shining. It was short-lived, though, the clouds soon moved in and took over. It was warm and a little humid, but at least it didn't rain. Everyone has had their fill of rain lately.

I wanted to get as much of the sky as I could in this shot, and also the reflection of the clouds in the water. It was so beautiful, I didn't do it justice, but I tried.

I'm off to Eugene tomorrow; I don't know if I will have time for blipping; I'm visiting someone in the hospital. It seems like I have done nothing lately but attend memorials and visit people in nursing homes and hospitals. It can be pretty depressing, but the older I get, I realize that it is important.
