Lightening Spheres

We found a new gallery in our neck of the woods last weekend but alas it wasn't open on Bank Holiday Monday, so we made an effort to go over to see it today.

If you're in the Petworth area, I certainly recommend a trip to the Moncrieff-Bray Gallery, not only for the excellent exhibition of paintings and sculptures, but also for its setting (the foothills of the Downs).

I could have easily been tempted to come home with a painting or two for the house, and the garden would have benefited from a piece of very talented sculpture.

This glass was a set of three Colin Hawkins' spheres - you couldn't have one, you had to have all three.... and then you would need a pod or two from Lawrence Dicks... the list just gets longer and longer....
