Meet Cedric Robinson Queens Guide to Morecambe Bay Sands. This man is a modern day Moses and guides thousands across the sands of Morecambe Bay each year. You have to go with Cedric as the bay is notorious for quick sands and fast incoming tides. Today we did the 8 mile crossing of the Bay to raise money for Galloways Society for the Blind a local Lancashire Charity. Unfortunately Cedric hasn't the power to part the waters and you get your feet wet cross the many water filled channels in the bay, including the main River Kent which rises over your knees. In the shot about 500 people are about to wade across the main river. Great fun in the sun for a good cause. Raised over £250 as a family.
