My palm tree, finally finished! This is the product of a five day residency our year group carried out at Trinity Buoy Wharf, where we had to produce a piece of work in the time given that related to the site in some way. I made this as a symbol of the things we import and take from other cultures, the leaves made from the flags of the East India Company, whose history of trade and colonialisation tied in with what I was trying to portray.
