Chair and book

A couple of years ago one of my local streets, was made "A Living Street of Art", and there were 6 chairs placed strategically along the way. These chairs are made of steel, and were rusted naturally. They were all mounted solidly into the ground, but at this stage, there are only 2 of them left. I do not know who the artist is who made them, but this one is called "Book by Fiona Gunn". I have no idea where the other chairs have gone. I have sat in a couple of the chairs at different times to get a 'feel for them', but I cannot say that I have ever seen anyone else sitting in them.
The University of Canterbury is on this road.
I do not even know what the public opinion is of them, as I have not seen anything in the paper about them.. who knows??
