All That Jazz

I am in the Symphony Strings part. Maybe you can find me in the picture too? Here's a hint: the only giggling person with a violin that is a bit too red. I guess that's okay though because it makes my violin somewhat special? Now that the seniors are gone and we've filled their spots, I'm fourth chair and it is a flashback to my Freshman year days.

Just got back from the jazz concert consisting of my high school orchestra and jazz band with the jazz quartet of Kris Johnson, the jazz artist-in-residence at my school. My liking for jazz has increased due to this concert and rehearsing for it. I enjoy listening to talented artists who have passion for their music. Amazing stuff! Makes me want to be in a jazz band in the future. That could happen...maybe.

Tomorrow's a very busy day. I sense a backblip coming on being that I'll probably get home around midnight.
