Another Flower

Well, 300 blips, but it has taken me a lot longer than 300 days! It's interesting (to me at least) to look back through my journal and see the changes in my photography, and the different things that I've been photographing at different times. Recently I've been playing around with different styles of processing, heavy vignettes and the square format - just a fad perhaps, but it's all part of the fun of photography.

Talking of fun, switching from a DSLR to a Panasonic GF1 was a decision I don't regret making, it's a fantastic camera, particularly with the 20mm pancake lens, and gets taken almost everywhere. Carting a DSLR about all the time isn't always fun, carrying the GF1 isn't a problem and brings enjoyment (not that photographing with a heavier camera isn't enjoyable, just that it can get tiresome after a while) back to the picture making process. Anyway I appear to be rambling now so just enjoy the picture :-D
