Just passing through

yeah for Friday! It was a stay-at-home-and-get-something-done-day, but a good day in spite of domestic chores. Looking forward to a quiet weekend, even if we are just two again this weekend.

This dog seems to make the neighborhood rounds at least once a day, using our drive to get to where he needs to be. He never stops or even seems to take notice of us, and hardly bothers to notice our cat or the large barking dog on the other side of the fence. He just goes on about his business, whatever that may be. I don't know where he lives, where he goes or why, but he seems to have his routine, there and back again. I've watched him cross the busy road at our driveway end, and he does it with all the care and caution of a person.
