Near miss

Today was going to be blip free, but, when putting out the wheelie bin tonight I came this close to stepping on this huge snail - which wouldn't have been much fun since I was only wearing my slippers.
I can still imagine how that combination of squelch and crunch would have felt underfoot - but luckily he was able to slope off unharmed. But not before I'd got the camera out.
