Toeing the line
Mad Thursday got madder.
Today was Conor's nursery trip to the East Links Family Farm. I mistakenly thought it might be a fun trip - lots of kids running about while grown up sit in the sun and vaguely watch them. Instead, I was looking after Conor and one of his daftest, least biddable, little friends. We were given some very simple but strict health and safety rules to follow: no going down the big slide, and no touching the animals.
So first we went on the big slide, and then we went and touched all the animals.
It was too hot really to be in a bus with no aircon, on East Lothian's twisty roads.
Too hot to be chasing two loony boys around a busy park.
Too hot to be in my car, with broken aircon.
An ice cream on the beach helped. And a little paddle. (These are Conor's toes, not mine - in case there was any doubt.)
My weekend away, and connectivity issues, give you a long list of backblips if you can be bothered....
