Washing Days.

Traditionally done on a Monday when I was a kid - but happens almost all the time here. Never seem to get to the bottom of the laundry bin either. Don't know how women managed when they only had access to the washroom in the tenements one day a week. If the automatic made it all so much easier why, oh why do I have so much washing to do?!!

Other news; thought I was going to be able to say the kitchen was finished at last, but the morning appointment (which was meant to take three hours) hadn't happened by 10.45 so I canceled it. Now deliberating over whether to let them try again or whether to tell them I'm keeping their money and getting someone else to do the work. Oh the power!
