Day 8 - Bozeman to Cody, Wyoming

Finally arrived in Cody, Wyoming (cowboy country!) after a long but inevitably great day.

Breakfast in Bozeman and a mooch around, before setting off on I-90 for the final time, heading east. Made our way to the small town of Red Lodge for a coffee break, and then started the ascent of the Beartooth Pass.

This was an amazing (and we have used the word constantly) road that went up and up and up the side of mountains, giving us amazing (there it is again!) views towards Yellowstone National Park. We kept stopping at scenic viewpoints, each one better than the last.

After nearly 300 miles we 'rode' into Cody at 7pm as the sun was setting, for two nights at the restored boutiquey Chamberlin Inn.

(I'm going to include this one as my assignment, for light and shadow - both were in play to give this effect, with an almost hypnotic blue colour ensuing)

EDIT Just returned from the Silver Dollar Bar where we had burgers (yum!) and a beer or three - hic!!!!

EDIT EDIT - Blog updated with extra pictures from Seattle. Others from the road to follow!
