Protecting the Dunes

Backblip

Spent part of today wacking in fence posts along the front of sand dunes on Lytham North beach. It was hard graft. The event was organised from work as part of national volunteering week although for all wildlife trust staff it was compulsory. As group we ended up protecting 2km of beach from the beach sweeping machine. Behind the fence posts the dunes should now start to build up with wind blown sand.
