Camilla The Chicken.

Meet Camilla one of our Light Sussex chickens. She's 17 weeks old now and you can see her comb is growing at last. Hopefully in a few weeks time she and her 5 friends (Alexis, Becky, Bella, Funky and Janeway) will start laying us some nice eggs. Camilla is a good little jumper and certainly beats all the other chickens to fresh spinach and dandelion leaves.

Camilla had her name chosen by our friend AJ who lives in New Zealand. We held a draw among some people we know on a forum and put all the names into a hat and Camilla The Chicken from the Muppet Show was the name that won. Hopefully in the next few days I can get some nice little surprises posted to AJ to say Thanks for naming her :-)
