today was my senior concerto recital. so many mixed emotions :)
incredibly excited to be playing something i worked so hard on.
nostalgic of four years of senior concerto concerts.
sad to be leaving a fantastic orchestra behind.
nervous for playing the wrong note.
elated for all the support i got!

i played camille saint-saens' carnival of the animals in its entirety. just two months ago i was freaking out to my best friend (who took this photo with my camrea) that i couldnt do it. completely in tears!

one of my best friends came to the concert, he didnt have to at all but his support is honestly what got me through it. he probably won't see this (so i can go on and on about it :) ) but it was looking out in the audience and seeing his smile that made the butterflies and nervousness go away. thanks anth! :)

long write up today but i have so much to say! if i don't type it now i won't remember it later.
also, my friends will, penina and kyle (the photographer) played beautiful concertos as well.

i'm excited to see next year's talent! a great end to my high school music career!
