Red Snapper...

...Veggies and Rice.

Sister left some Calve Knoflook saus.
We added a bit of lemon, and it was tartar sauce:-)

Today was a good day, got everything done that needed to be done and more.

Lucky for me Mom was able to travel with me while I did some of my chores.
No work today or next Wednesday so I'm taking care of medical appointments for Mom.

The red snapper came by way of the butcher because he only had cod frozen. So he sold me on the $3.99 per lb. and away I went with 1.5 lbs. of snapper. It cooked up well once I changed pans. I need to buy a new 10inch skillet the old one has had it:-(

I've found the rice that reminds me of younger days for .99 cents. Who knew??
It's sweet and fluffy. Also mixes well with the italian squash, onions and tomatoes.

I had a Bud Light with lime with mine. Mom had water.
Peaches to top it off.

Thanks Sis for the Calve. It will be no more by months end.

The rice and flash didn't work well on this shot. I tried fixing it in Adobe but it?s still to bright. I do like the reflection on the plate.
