School uniforms (already)...

Apparently the little schoolwear shop at the end of my road gets ridiculously busy during the summer holidays, with queues out the door and down the street. So today we started the school uniform shopping fairly early to avoid stress and queues - I can't hack either and let's face it, if I could order online I would!

This is wee C's school skirt & blazer badge - not got the blazer yet as wee C's such a tiny skelf of a girl, they need to order in a size 0 for her - I think it probably equates to age 3-4! The skirts are age 3-4 too, and although she's a skinny lass, she's not THAT small so the sizes must be pretty generous.

So, so far we have two skirts, two school cardies, two polo shirts for gym days, and a pair of navy blue shorts. Still to get some school blouses but I'm reckoning the supermarket or M&S will be a cheaper bet. And then there'll be school shoes... Good grief, this school malarkey is costing us a fortune already!! At least the tie is free - they give the kids that at their nursery graduation as a farewell gift!! :-)

Wee C's second visit to school is tomorrow, hope she likes it as much as last time! What a big (little) girl... How time flies...
