"Rose - Day 1"

Wandering round the garden this morning looking for inspiration I glanced across to the rose my wife's Mum bought her for a Christmas present ten years ago. Olive, my wife's Mum, died a few years ago and the rose continues to remind us of her and what an "old bat" she was. No, only joking. Anyway I thought why not record the rose on a daily basis - from bud to full bloom. So here is pic number 1. Number 2 published tomorrow.
