Brrrrrrring Brrrrring

Any idea what this is?

It's been a frantic day of removing wallpaper, tearing up carpets, pulling up nails, removing skirting boards, and packing a whole flat into one room, with some items moved into the garden temporarily. I think we'll be living in the lounge for a few weeks while the rest of the flat is plastered, painted, skirting boarded and floored. It's all very exciting! Judging from the stuff we're finding (old newspapers packed behind walls and five (FIVE!) layers of dubious wallpaper, this place hasn't had a serious redecoration since the 70s, and they obviously couldn't be bothered to take off wallpaper - there was even a layer of plaster on top of one covering!
