The Hedgehog Knows One Big Thing

I can only assume that my dog and I don't look that threatening, as this little feller didn't feel the need to curl into a ball.

We met shortly after midnight (late walkies on band practice night) and I had to admire his (or her, I didn't look*) calm and unperturbed demeanour.

As soon as I'd taken the picture, it occurred to me that a nocturnal creature might not appreciate the flash. But to be honest, it didn't seem bothered. Hope I didn't blind it, or anything...
