Meet Pearl

This weekend, James announced that Faye needed a friend. Little did he know that I had just the cat in mind. 7 weeks ago, someone found this little cat in his garage, having given birth to 4 kittens in a cardboard box on top of the styrofoam pellets. She was brought to the clinic and I have enjoyed visiting this mama cat whenever I can. The kittens are now almost half her size and still trying to nurse, so she is way too skinny. And she has a viral infection in her eye. She would be a lot harder to adopt than her kittens. In a few days she will be spayed (no more kittens in her future) and we will hope that Faye really did want a friend.
