Departmental Awards

This evening, after a grueling day at school, track practice, and work (and by grueling i mean we did nothing at school, minimal at track, and i can do my work in my sleep), were the Departmental Awards for seniors at the High School.

Although I was shocked and stoked to even recieve an invitation to this since its mainly for smart kids who excell in their subject matters...I had my reservations that there was actually a subject that I had gotten an award for. The likelihood that I was accidently sent an invite was more probably then that...

But I did indeed recieve the "Excellence in Art Award"...more specifically "Visual Arts"...since you know not all art is visible in some form or another? But I'm pleased to have gotten an award for photo (heavens knows my art skills arent what got me this). =]

Congrats to all my other friends who were awarded this evening. I didn't know i had such an intelligent hard working group of friends...actually i did =]
