Hydrangea

Picked from the garden yesterday. All the rest of the autumn flowers look soggy and sad, smelched by damp and rain, but the hydrangea bush produces these stiff papery flowers that seem immune to the downpours. I am going to have to move them off my desk because I can't stop looking at them.
