Paddy's Plums in Belfast

To be honest, it's more the little story behind this blip that makes me smile. Walking around the streets in Belfast very near where I'm living this month, I saw these flowers and stopped to take a pic. The lady owner came out and we had this conversation:

Owner: Hello there, do you want to know the name of the flowers?
Me: Oh, yes please. They're beautiful! Hope you don't mind my taking pics.
Owner: No, not at all. Well, these are called Paddy's Plums.
Me: Paddy's Plums? What a lovely name for Irish poppies!
Owner: You're welcome to come inside the garden and take as many pics as you like. Come back anytime!
Me: How very friendly, I thought, thanking her.

When I checked the name on the internet though, I couldn't find Paddy's Plums, but did find Patty's Plums. A wee bit disappointed now as I thought that it was such a great name for Irish poppies! Maybe by the end of the month, the accent will be a bit clearer to me. Or maybe I didn't mishear. Any Irish blippers out there who could help?

Not the best pic today, but was tired after first day of course tonight and needed food and had 30 mins of light. Apart from Paddy's Plums, another highlight today was spotting a grey squirrel on walk to work and again coming home. None of these in Barcelona!
